For the first time Bravo Food Service, LLC., awarded the Preston A. Salim Memorial Scholarship. The recipient, Haley Hall, attends Auburn University where she has excelled in her academics while working towards a degree in nursing. Haley is the daughter of our Dunkin’ Donuts Market Director, Patrick Hall.
The Bravo Food Service Preston A. Salim Memorial Scholarship was established to help the children of BFS management team members in their pursuit of higher education, so that they may reach their Full Potential and to commemorate our former team member, Preston Salim. Preston was the son of Akram and Eddie Salim, whom both served in leadership roles within the BFS organization. Following in his parents’ footsteps, Preston felt called to serve in a leadership role within our company. Unfortunately, Preston’s life was cut short. To honor his life, achievements, and hard work, BFS and the Salim family decided to give back by awarding someone with his same qualities a scholarship to reach their Full Potential!
Haley’s academic achievements, her love for people, and giving back through extracurricular activities, made her the obvious choice for such a scholarship, which is based off of those same tangible values.
Congratulations Haley for all your accomplishments. The BFS Team and Salim Family wish you nothing but success in all your endeavors!

Bravo Food Service, LLC recently partnered with United Way of Central Alabama, Inc. and Hands On Birmingham by providing a total of 355 pizzas for a recent Project Homeless Connect event at the Boutwell Auditorium.
Helping feed the 677 homeless guest and 700 volunteers at the event, two Little Caesars stores, the 5 Points West and the Greensprings locations cheerfully helped by preparing and loading cars with fresh HOT-N-READY™ pizzas for the event.
Trish Hoover, UWCA Vice President – Community Initiatives said, “They were ready for us and were just pulling the last dozen or so out of the oven when we arrived for each of the pickup times. To our delight, they cheerfully helped load our cars. “ Hoover continued by adding, “They were piping hot and instantly devoured at the event.”
Bravo Food Service was extremely honored to be a part of the event and looks forward to future opportunities for community outreach and partnership.
